I invite you to share personal stories of your Vietnam experiences.
These stories will be gathered, approved, and edited for publication in the near future. I invite each contributor to submit no more than two stories per person, from suggested categories shown below.
I welcome stories from all US military branches, during the years 1960-1975.
If you are a widow, or other family member, of a deceased veteran, you are invited to contribute.
Story Categories
Ground and Air
Tell your story of experiences during any activity in battle, on the ground or in the air.
Naval
Your experiences in battle, patrol, transportation, or service at sea.
A Life Was Saved
Tell your story of helping save the life of an injured service member, or how your own life was saved through the actions of others.
Military Advisor
Tell your story if your service involved acting as a Military Advisor or Envoy during your deployment.
POW
Share your profound experiences and resilience if you were held as a Prisoner of War (POW).
Frequently Asked Questions
Who may submit stories?
Any American veteran who served in the United States military between 1960 and 1975, across all branches. Family members of deceased veterans are also encouraged to submit on their behalf.
How many stories can I submit?
Each contributor is encouraged to submit no more than two unique personal stories.
Can family members contribute?
Yes, widows, family members, and loved ones of deceased veterans are warmly invited to preserve their memories.
Will stories be edited?
Stories may be reviewed and gently edited for clarity, grammar, and length before publication, while rigorously preserving your original voice and historical accuracy.
When will the collection be published?
We are currently gathering submissions and plan to announce publication details in the near future.
